Hey Guys after successful release of "Hide n Seek", now i m onto my next app development. I named it "Video Vanish".

Received lots of emails about having a feature of hiding the videos as well in "Hide n Seek", so i decided not to touch "Hide n Seek", instead i have decided to develop a new app right from the Scratch.

Video Vanish will have the following features.

1) Hide iPod Videos
2) You can have a Preview of the Videos before hiding it.
3) You can hide Selected Videos also.

These are the very basic feature i have decided to include in this version, but will enhance them a bit more in the next version.

After the successful launch of our first app "Hide n Seek" , we are glad to announce that we are going to launch another app by the name of "Video Vanish".

What this app will do? Good Question!

Video Vanish will allow you to hide your iPod videos. You can hide any Video in your iPod/iPhone and can unhide them anytime with just a single tap.

This app is designed totally from scratch and has nothing to do with "Hide n Seek".

It will be available on Cydia Soon.

Its been a few month since we released our first app by the name of "Hide n Seek". There are two versions for this app till date. We are glad to mention that people are loving this app and there are almost 20k downloads for this app, which is stunning.

People having Swap Camera Roll should take good care while using "Hide n Seek".

Please remember to note which Camera Roll you are using, if you are using Swap Camera Roll.

Its a good technique to use only one of Swap Camera Roll app or Hide n Seek App.

Both apps installed simultaneously can create problem for both apps.

"Hide n Seek V.2.0 will work for only JPG Files"

"Hide n Seek" will work for only JPEG files. Your .PNG files will not hide using this Version of Hide n Seek.

This Version of Hide n Seek will most likely hide/seek pics taken from the camera.

People With Hide n Seek V.1.0
People having problem with "Hide n Seek V.1.0" can install "Hide n Seek V.2.0" even if the slider is not working from ON/OFF in "Hide n Seek V.1.0".

This latest version will recover the lost pics also, so please feel free to use it.

People With Fresh Install
People who dont have previous versions of Hide n Seek are also welcome to install this app, it will work absolutely fine with you people.

Hide n Seek V.2.0 Tips n Tricks

Below are some Tips n Tricks for Hide n Seek V.2.0

1)Now you can preview the pic you want to hide/seek. Just Tap the pic name (IMG_0003.JPG), this will show you the preview of the Pic.

2) In order to hide a pic simply tap the "Hide" button, a message will pop up showing that image has been hidden.

3) In order to seek a pic simply tap the "Seek" button, a message will pop up showing that image has been seeked.

4) There is a "About" button at the bottom of the screen, it contains the information about the Author. Please feel free to comment and also visit the blog for more information.

Hide n Seek V.2.0 released on Cydia under the BigBoss repo.

Follow instructions below on how to install Hide n Seek V.2.0 (For People whom do not have Hide n Seek V.1.0)
1) Open Cydia
2) Tap search and type "Hide n Seek"
3) Tap "Hide n Seek" and tap on install at top right corner.
4) After installation is completed you are ready to go.

2) Tap changes and you ll find Hide n Seek

A good news is that now you can hide/unhide the selected pics from the camera roll instead of hiding the whole camera roll. Before hiding the pic ofcourse you can have a preview of the picture you wanna hide, how Cool is that :).

Good News for poepl who have lost their pics due to previous version of "Hide n Seek" is, this version will recover your pics.

Hide n Seek Upcoming V.2.0 features

i have almost developed the next version of Hide n Seek. It includes following updates

1) Now you can hide/unhide selected Pics from your Camera Roll instead of hiding and unhiding the whole camera Roll.

2) A bug (that hides your pics but then does not unhide them) is removed.

3) No extra files are created in your iphone.

4) Much more efficient way of handling the pics (while hiding and unhiding them).

People having problem with unhiding their camera roll, try this

I heard a few people having problem with unhiding their camera rolls. Well not to worry about, your pics are still safe and inside your Phone. Try the following guide to unhide your pics.

if you are on windows, try unhiding the files and folders from Folder Options>View>Show Hidden Files and Folders.
And if you are on Mac, types these commands in Terminal and then SSH again into your iPhone

FOR MAC
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
killall Finder

Now follow the steps below

ssh into your phone, navigate to /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/
100APPLE and there will be a folder named (.100APPLE) , this is where your pics are, now copy all the pics from this folder to /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE and all your photos will be back

Follow these guides on how to SSH into your iPhone. SSH into iphone means to access the underlying iphone directories.

Appitizers present "Hide n Seek". This Simple and elegant iPhone app will hide your iPhone camera roll.

How many times you forgot your iPhone somewhere and got afraid of someone watching your private pics. No !!! not anymore. This app will hide your camera roll with a simple tap of switch and then unhide them with the same tap of switch. Its that simple.
